Zelf product docs

Public-safe snapshot

What exists
today.

A compact, honest map of the public previews, local implementation, safety boundaries, and the outcomes that still have to ship.

Zelf Knowledge

Engine capability is not the product outcome.

The local engine has substantial capture, search, curation, dossier, projection, feedback, and release machinery. The new local screen currently demonstrates single-note/URL capture and basic answer-level retrieval. It does not yet produce the project → corpus → inspectable cited brief outcome.

CURRENT

Local engine and smoke path

Text/URL capture, local records, question answering, answer-level evidence, and a labeled synthetic walkthrough.

MISSING P0

Useful research workspace

Projects, multi-source corpus inspection, exact claim citations, conflict/unknown detection, saved briefs, and bounded context packs.

PUBLIC BOUNDARY

No private Knowledge data here

This deployment is static. It exposes no mutable API, private workspace, ops dashboard, local database, or captured user material.

TRACKER

ZLF-84 is In Progress

The journey cannot be called complete until a user can create a research project, add several sources, and receive a saved inspectable cited brief.

Zelf Jobs

A supervised wedge, not an autonomous applicant.

The current local alpha can collect roles and deterministically rank them. The underlying branch adds evidence-only packet groundwork and removes submit-enabled or auto-approval paths, but evidence onboarding and an end-user packet review journey remain incomplete.

CURRENT

Collect and rank

Manual role intake, visible preference/avoidance lens, local heuristic ranking, and synthetic walkthrough.

IN PROGRESS

Ground and review

Private career evidence, claim grounding, packet integrity, reviewer binding, and explicit approvals.

BOUNDARY

No public execution

This site cannot apply, send, submit, ingest private evidence, or access the local Jobs database.

Release standard

Built, verified, published, and useful are four different claims.

A tracker item reaches Done only when its promised user outcome is reproducible from a clean checkout or usable at the published URL, with tests, maturity, limits, and rollback recorded.
